AS/NZS 5110 Safety Standard Compliance

The AS/NZS 5110 Safety Standard comes into play when a builder or homeowner requires the following features in the building and thermal envelope of the building:

  1. Fire Rating
  2. Draught Proofing
  3. Insulation
  4. Sound Proofing

If you need any of these features in your ceiling system, particularly with recessed lighting, your fittings must comply with the AS/NZS 5110 Safety Standard.
