LED Mitt Downlight Cover Combinations

IMPORTANT! There maybe other cheaper products on the market, but they may not comply to AS/NZS 5110 Barrier Standard, they also need to be assembled on site and they normally do not have a place to cable tie control gear..  Be sure to check that you are comparing our product with a Cover that complies to the barrier standard called up by AS/NZS 60598.

Our Downlight cover products are restrictive on air flow and are very insulating by nature.  We have partnerships in place with Lighting manufacturers to create combination products for use with our covers to assist customers in achieving any, or all of, the below:

Choosing the right downlight cover product is critically dependant on what you require to achieve.

Our Basic Mitt achieves insulation consistency, sound proofing and fire rating with Halogen Globes and our supported LED products, while our Loft Mitt and Downlight Mitt products, provide an air tight solution to selected LED downlight Luminaire products.

Installation of our Downlight covers can be done from above or below the ceiling.  Mastic should be used when installing from above.
