Halogen Down lights turn your roof into Swiss cheese allowing hot air during winter to rise into the roof which equates to energy loss, and in summer allowing hot air in your roof to push down into your living areas.

Product Description
The Halogen Mitt is a downlight fitting retrofit product which focuses on fixing the inefficiencies of downlights. The Downlight covers are made out of an intumescent material taking downlight safety to a new level, and also providing an R-value of 0.5 above fittings. The Lamp is energy efficient and also includes a silver backing which forces light and most of the heat downwards away from the roof and the back of the light fitting.

Installation of the Downlight Mitt can be done from above or below the Ceiling. Mastic must be used when installing from above.

The Halogen Mitt is designed to change the general operation of a Downlight, to fix draughts,R-value consistency of insulation and Energy efficiency of down lighting.
